Investing in newly designed content for their existing digital menu screens made perfect sense for Burrito Loco. But even they were surprised that it resulted in a 63% uplift in sales.
The animated menu screens that we created for STACKED, caught the attention of Miguel, the owner of Burrito Loco, who realised that his menu screens needed to work just as hard.
Burrito Loco are a successful independent Mexican restaurant with three sites in Guilford. While being successful and much loved locally, Miguel spotted an opportunity to increase spend per transaction and improve footfall. Eclipse Digital (who provided the STACKED screens) introduced Allen Creative and we were confident that we could help.
The flagship site adjacent to the Spectrum has six 42’’ screens to play with, and a tasty menu to explore. We increased the visibility of all the key menu options and designed animated flashes for each upsell opportunity. (Who doesn’t love extra guacamole on their fully loaded fries?)
The completed bank of screens fits perfectly with the Burrito Loco brand identity, displaying easy-to-navigate menu content with subtle yet fun animation.
We know it sounds ‘loco’ but this winning combination increased sales by 63% in the first week, with customers ordering way more sides, drinks and desserts than before.
Within weeks the extra sales covered the cost of the new content and is now providing an incredible return on the investment.
Of course with a result like this, Burrito Loco are now rolling out this concept to their other locations and investing in more screens as well as commissioning local marketing, takeaway menus, promoting their event catering and more!
